Car Share Northern Ireland is absolutely free to use. Whether you are a driver, a passenger or simply interested in finding an alternative way to get about, then this is the site for you.

This website not only helps you find others traveling the same way as you so you can share a car but also gives information on other transport options.

Registration only takes a few minutes but is required in order to help us run the scheme securely.

The Car Share Northern Ireland Scheme was launched on 14 June 2005 with the intention of making it available across the public and private sectors including the wider community in a series of stages.

Stage 1 - The Northern Ireland Civil Service - Summer 2005
Stage 2 - Other public sector organisations - Autumn 2005
Stage 3 - Private sector businesses and general public - Early 2006
